“Nyt ei kannata mennä…”
kannata ???
Shouldn’t that be kannattaa?
Also “Nyt ei kannata mennä töihin eikä kouluun” is 100% equal to “Also “Nyt ei kannata mennä kouluun eikä töihin”, but the first version is detected as an error.
Oops… negation. My mistake… (the comment about word placement in the interactive section is still valid though).
One last comment: My comments were not criticism, rather light QA in order to maybe improve the end result. I haven’t visited this site in a few years and was surprised and impressed to see how much it has grown.
Thank you very much for all the content and the hard work. This used to me my go-to website when I started learning Finnish (still have a long way, obviously), and I came back now to refresh some grammar. Great site!
Thanks for the encouraging words!
Yes, “ei kannata” was correct.
As you noticed, “kouluun” and “töihin” should indeed be interchangeable, but the plugin I used to make these exercises doesn’t allow for that unfortunately. I’ve taken that into account in other exercises as much as possible.
Exercise 5 says “Put the verbs in the singular imperative!”. Shouldn’t it be the plural imperative?
Yes, thank you! 🙂 You now have two bonus points!
