This exercise contains the following easy wordtypes:

  • Words ending in a vowel: add -lta/ltä
  • Words ending in -nen: replace -nen with -se- before adding -lta/ltä

Pay attention to consonant gradation! These words become WEAK when you add -lta/ltä!

Exercise 7: From level A2.1

In addition to using adjectives to describe what something looks or tastes like, we can also use nouns. For example, food can taste sweet (makea) or salty (suolainen), but in addition it can taste like garlic (valkosipuli) or chocolate (suklaa).

  • Words ending in -us/ys: replace -us/ys with -ukse/ykse- before adding -lta/ltä
