On this page, you can practice conjunctions. Conjunctions are words that connect sentences, or parts of sentences to one another.

This is a fairly tricky topic to create exercises for, because there’s no way for you to ask why a certain conjunction is used. Without the explanation, you can get discouraged. In addition, it is always possible that some of the sentences I came up with can have two correct conjunctions, while only one is considered correct in the exercise. I’ve tried my best to come up with sentences where there is no ambiguity, but you’ll have to be the judge of whether I succeeded!

Important! Please read the instructions! In some exercises you can only use a limited set of conjunctions. This means other possible conjunctions are not allowed.
