Hygieniapassi - Interactive Exercises

If you intend to work in Finland in the food industry, most places will require you to get your hygiene passport (hygieniapassi). To get this passport, you have to participate in a test organized by the Finnish food authorities. You can read more about the topic here.

The goal of this page is to give you the opportunity to practice the Finnish vocabulary and contents that might be present in the test. It is possible to take your test in another language like English or Russian, but if you feel up to it, you can also take it in Finnish.

I’ve taken the vocabulary and contents from the very useful easy Finnish PDF by Hyria. This PDF contains simple Finnish and is meant specifically for non-native Finnish speakers. For each exercise, I’ve marked which pages of this document you will need in order to do the exercise.

Many of the exercises recycle the same vocabulary over and over again. This is done in an attempt to give you enough repetition to learn the words provided. I’ve provided both vocabulary exercises and exercises about the content of these pages.
