Phrases the dentist might say during the procedure

In the following examples, I’ve mainly used the sinä-form. Depending on your age and on the doctor, you will also hear the plural te-form (e.g. istu vs. istukaa; haluatko vs. haluatteko).

Can one say also “(hammas)lääkärissä”? I think I’ve seen it more often, even though “(hammas)lääkärillä” seems more logical.

Yes you can! Same as for the regular lääkäri. I picked the keyword hammalääkärillä for this article, which means I had to repeat that specific form several times to keep Google happy xD I’m not sure which one is more common, lääkärissä or lääkärillä. Personally I prefer -lla.
